About me
I graduated from Palacký University in Olomouc, majoring in Polish and English Philology.
A sworn translator since 2011 appointed by the Regional Court in Ostrava.
As a sworn translator, I am bound by confidentiality and compliance with GDPR, which applies to both ordinary and certified translations.

Regular translations
Any translation for which you do not need official verification by
a sworn translator. These can be translations of various legal documents (contracts, certificates, declarations, confirmations…), catalogues, corporate correspondence, promotional materials, websites and any other texts you need to translate.
Sworn (certified) translations
Translations that I make on the basis of my appointment as a sworn translator and on which I will affix an official stamp. Examples of most frequently required documents: breeder documents (birth, marriage or death certificates), criminal records, extracts from commercial register, diplomas, legal documents (articles of association, contracts, powers of attorney), documents issued by tax authorities, documents issued by judicial authorities or notaries.

How can I deliver texts to be translated?
The fastest and easiest way of delivery is by e-mail. You can also deliver the documents in person or send them by registered mail.
What is the deadline?
I set the deadline individually according to the volume of your text and your requirements. I always try to do my best to meet your deadline expectations.
What is a standard translation page?
The standard translation page is set by the Czech Act on Sworn Translators and Interpreters, i.e. 1800 characters including spaces, which corresponds to 60 lines of 30 keystrokes each. Each initiated page of a sworn translation shall be considered as an entire page if it closes the text
or if it constitues its integral part.
What is a sworn (certified) translation?
As a sworn translator, I am authorized to provide officially certified translations in English-Polish-Czech languages. In practice, this means that the document you submit (whether it is an original, a certified copy
or other) will be sewn with the translation and provided with a sworn translator´s clause and a stamp.
What is an Apostille?
Apostille is a clause attached to official documents that certifies the signature and stamp affixed on the document for use in another country. Verification of the document by an apostille is carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, if the document has been issued by state administration authorities. For documents issued by judicial authorities or notaries, this verification is carried out by the Ministry
of Justice of the Czech Republic.
